Each summer in Bloomington, Indiana the B'Town Jazz Fest brings a line up of jazz musicians performing together in multiple bands on stage for a day of music. Bloomington is home to the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In 2021, the Jazz Fest ran for an enjoyable eleven hours, thirteen bands performing on two stages. Seven time Grammy Award winning trumpeter, Randy Brecker, joined the line-up performing with four band performances and also conducted a clinic for young musicians the day before the festival.
