Space View Park is a unique riverfront park located on the Indian River in Titusville, Florida. The park was created in 1994 through a partnership between the U.S. Space Walk of Fame and the City of Titusville.
It honors the U.S. Space programs of Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and the Space Shuttle through the display of monuments, bronze hand prints, engravings and mission plaques. The park is attractively landscaped and provides an environment for education and quiet reflection.
The Space Shuttle monument is the newest addition completed in October, 2014. Astronauts John W. Young and Robert L. Crippen, who flew the first mission STS-1 aboard Space Shuttle Columbia, will be honored guests at the dedication ceremony on November 1, 2014
