De Leon Springs State Park has a natural spring and a restaurant, The Old Sugar Mill and Pancake House, located in a historic Spanish stone mill which in its past used the flowing water of the spring flow to turn the mill wheel.
The spring boil is located some 30 feet (10 meters) below the water surface and is a sand boil. The water temperature is 72 degrees Fahrenheit year around.
